youll have to pop them wright out and clean them with a very fine wet n dry till all the rust on the piston has gone and the same inside the caliper to help them go in i put a bit of copper grease on them it just helps to not damage the seals

IMO its a bad idea to use copper grease on brake seals/pistons..............it can react with the rubber, causes swelling and stiction (ooh err missus)

look for pukka hydraulic "red" grease..........

Just dip the piston in brake fluid to aid reinsertion if necessary

Copper grease will cause damage to your seals if you use it

Maybe a stupid question , but how do u pop the pistons out ? , will fluid go every where and do u need to bleed the brakes ? i'm not very good at this kind of stuff.
