Default I've just had a HUGE shock

Before I met my Hev I was engaged to a girl for several years (Sue). She had four cousins all around my age and we all became really good mates. All into racing, all into motors and everything was cool. Eventually Sue & I split up but all of us remained friends.

All four were very successful car dealers (like their old man was) with Graham doing better than his 3 brothers.
I knew Graham really well and whilst visiting him one day I saw this peach of a babe come out his front door (his house was beside his massive car dealership). I said "fook me who is that? I asked him who she was and he told me she was renting the basement flat within his house. I asked him more questions about her and he said forget it mate, we've all tried and she's not interested. Two weeks later I took her to London for a good night out and I've been married to her for the last 26 years

So....... Hev and I both knew Graham. Several years passed and I heard Graham became heavily involved in drugs. Not dealing, but hooked on E's.

He phoned me up years later and it was quite sad. It wasn't the Graham we knew by a long way.

He now has no job and lives in Eastbourne. This is what drugs have done to a man that was born with a gift of a VERY high IQ and who everyone used to look up to. This guy sold between 50 & 100 motors every week of the year, and that would be a realistic figure.

It's very funny, but for us that know/knew him, it's very sad.

The whole idea of that program enrages me. They deliberately let the deluded and bewildered through so that thousands of people sat on their backsides can gawp at them and poke fun. I hate it.

Poor bloke

Drugs do terrible things to people.

I agree about the sentiment Sean made about this programme. The whole concept makes me sick.

Thats sad mate. I know a girl (good singer) who went to the x-factor auditions once and she had to go through 2 sets of judges before getting infront of simon cowell, etc. The 2nd set of judges said your a great singer but too normal.. bye.
