Best oils for classics
What engine and box oil would you guys recommend for early 80k Wrx's
they both want changing and will do both cars at the same time, always panicking that the bearings are going to go, my original wrx i always change the oil with 10-40, but last time i used 5-40 and was told thats to low of a grade. |

i would NOT recomend a 5w40 in a reasonably used classic.................
ideally min. 10w40 and we always use a full synth race oil although in theory you can use a semi-synth (your money, your engine, your choice at the end of the day) as for gear oils, depends how its driven but 75w90 regardless (unless drag use, etc.) and we stock a number of options/price points from Millers/Motul and Castrol driveline............ always have forum deals for members and reguarly have no problem being better priced than other dealers "specials"
