Default Best flash

Hi all

Can anyone suggest the best type of flash gun for a Nikon D200 for general use indoors and out. Been looking for a while and still undecided on which one is best in terms of cost/usefulness so any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I would recommend the Nikon SB900. It's a great flash unit.

Thanks for the advice. Been looking around on a few website and the price varies quite a lot but I also came across an alterative nissin one, is this any good or is it best to stay with Nikon?

Both Nissin & Metz both do a great job, but the the Nikon has a lot more features, but you do pay for it!

Cheers for the advice worzel. It is what I was thinking in that you only get what you pay for so have to add this on my wishlist of equipment to get for my camera.
