redex..good or bad

do any of you guys use engine cleaners in your scoobs like redex.as my service is due at the end of the month and didnt no if its worth putting some redex in once a year.

Most octane boosters have some cleaning effect so I have done in a way.... Made no difference as far as I've noticed.
