If you are looking for reliable turbos,VF30 or VF34,VF35 are pretty reliable.
On other side genuine TD range is pretty reliable(and easy to rebuild),TD05-16G or 18G will be good turbo,if you could stretch your budget SC36 will be good turbo and really spooly turbo as well.

But you will need go rotated and you must have rotated setup,GT35 are only rotated, great turbo i must admit.

Scoobyclinc selling Blouch turbos which i have in my build, which is based on Garrett Ball bearing core(GT30) with billet turbine and are standard location or you can also have look for Lateral Performance MD321 series which are based on same cores Garrett GT30.

You will need also 6speed(or PPG),plus mappable ECU like Syvecs,Simtek etc.,forged engine etc. and will be not cheap.

And what means rotated setup(if you want GT35),here is picture, how it looks
Also you will need new downpipe,up pipe headers etc(£700-900) or full set with turbo GT35r from RCM £3899(you are all ready save £800,you will need just £3k...)

Matey really upgrade what you have like brakes,ARB's,Droplinks, fast road alignment and you have great car.

Modding car is not cheap and at end will end with big bill, and if its worth not sure.

What turbo you have now?

VF34 are good and very spooly turbos, with good ported headers and up pipe will make goo power and also will be good.

ill have to post what turbo i have on there when i get home but when i had the clutch done last month the guy way impressed with what he see he was telling me that it has ported headers with up-pipe attached to it he said who ever had it before me spent some serious money on it... i have two thick folders from things that have been spent on it even every service from japan to when it was imported here!

Yeah SimTek is good ECU and 6 speed will be good addition.

Really matey,if you are looking for turbo upgade depends how much bhp you want and from this you will see what you can get,Garrett turbos are generally based on Ball bearing cores, which are very reliable, but nothing out there is bullet proof,TD range is based on thrust bearing.
