Default Sad times

looks like im gonna be looking for a new scoobie as some nice chap decided to drive straight through a give way and ploughed into me proper gutted ive spent so much time and money on it! now im concerned his insurance company will come back with a cruelly low payout! i just hope i can find a replacement as i feel like im missing a leg without it! I have been given a lovely courtesy car audi A8 3litre tdi quattro sport but its just not the same! !

Cheers chaps and thanks for the advice i intend to battle for a fair amount! ive been looking and im gonna struggle to replace the car for under £2500

Start compiling a file of comparable cars from autotrader, PH, etc.

This will help you go into battle!

Had to do this when my wife's 106 caught fire (with her in it), as the offer given took the mick! Got a proper settlement in the end, but it was a protracted affair. I'd have my armoury stocked if it ever happened again.

Cheers chaps ive started having a good look about but im tied until his insurance company contacts me with an offer my insurance co are 99% sure it will be a write off but its just a waiting game! pretty plush coutesy car eh but im bored with it already!

Thats what i thought, seems strange that the company wouldn't have put it back to standard plates and flogged the private one!

I feel your pain mate, mine is in the repair shop at the moment thanks to some stupid woman, if your insurance company is anything like mine be aware of a lot of paperwork to read.
