Default Fuel purge Solenoid on a 1995 Mcrae

Can anyone advise / with a pic if possible where the purge solenoid is located on a 1995 Impreza please.

I can't find it on the manifold, nor any wiring for it (I know the later ones are there).

I am trying to locate it on my Mcrae as I have a CEL coming up for the solenoid but really cant find it on the car!

i think its under the inlet kinda behind the alterator but more towards the air intake. just follow the pipes from the carbon canister.

Hi
Merry Christmas! and thanks for the replies.

The strange thing with this one is we have followed the pipes and cant find a solenoid.

they seem to connect to metal lines to tubber lines to the canister.

Cery strange one.

Also cant find any spare plugs that need connecting.

I know my 97 and 99 are both different to the 95 so I cant even use them as a ref poin!

just a thought.......
are you sure its a solenoid cel and not a tps related cel.
the reason i ask is that the prodrive chip in a mcrae ecu (that was an option) does throw up the throttle switch code whenever you do a diagnostics check.
it should be ignored. the prodrive UK chip is actually the same map as an STi version 2 which must have a slightly different throttle pot/switch.
