Default army ration packs

does anyone no how long army ration packs can be keep and eaten.my mate gave me 10x 24 hr boxes,date on boxes say made 2004.

Didz just spoke to a squaddie mate, he said they should be fine but probably wouldn't eat the cheese if there's any!!

probably try one and see how your stomach is 3 hours later!!

thanks tomma,all good m8.sat there last nite and had beef stew and dumplings,oxtail soup and 2 yorkie bars no bad belly
wast not want not as they say.

Officially it's 4 years for packs (except the cheese and pate packs which can go bad much sooner). Chocolate is usually about 1 year (the use by dates are on the Yorkies)

They can last as long as 10 years, depending on how they are stored, one give away if they are starting to go bad is that the packs start to swell
