Default Back again at last!!

I can pretty much guarantee I am the happiest person on this forum today!!

Big thanks to Dave (Big Emp). Popped over yesterday evening and pick it up in a week or so when I am back from hols.

55 plate Blob STI. 63,000 miles, full history and really clean. Some nice additions (cheers Dave!) too including BC coilovers and Prosport EVO gauges.

Exactly what I have been looking for and decided i'd be happer with this than spending out on a new one in the end.

Roll on germany 2015 lol

Cheers mate. It feels good to be 'authentic' again lol.

One things for sure, this one will be staying.

God I'd love to come to Germany, but we are away on a family hol over the weekend so would fancy the fall out of that lol.

Regarding the holiday couldn`t you say you are "just popping out,you wont be long, so leave the light on".

My Brother-in-law wants to come next year so all being well next years list has 3 names on it already.

Cheers guys. Really pleased. Its taken a while just waiting for the right one to come up, but I always said a late blob (in black of course) would be my preferred choice if I didn't lease a new one. In the end the money I would be putting into leasing new just wasn't worth it to me and at least with this I can mess about and have some fun with it.

Congratulations Steve, it looks a fantastic car and I suspect Dave has spent more time cleaning and tinkering with it than driving it.

It's pretty standard engine wise tim which is what I wanted so I can build on it over the next few years. Dave wasn't sure if it had been mapped as it does seem lively and pulls really well. It obviously feels quick to me as it's been some time for me driving one but i would say it's just a well looked after and tight standard 2.0.

The short term plan will be sports cat, fuel pump and remap just to get it comfortably into the 3's hopefully around 320/330 and then decide where to go from there. It's had BC Adjustable Coilovers fitted in 2013 which seem to make a massive difference to the ride over the standard set up. It feels very planted and less choppy than my hawk felt. Apart from that it has a ninja 2 back box which sounds nice, prosport evo digital gauges, led and de tango'd front lights and a front splitter.

Body wise it's good and just has a couple of the usual door dinks but nothing that can't be sorted in time.

What amazed me the most is I have driven and looked at quite a few new 'potential' cars over the last few weeks and I still enjoyed driving the scoob more. The bonus is it costs less too. Would like to have driven the new STI as it's getting some good reviews but again just couldn't justify the money for a new one.
