Just Ordered These for the Snow

Because I live on a hill and getting in and out of my village is a mare!

On summer tyres.

Cheapest I've found all the ones on Ebay had ended!

It cost me alot last year when I hit the kerb wishbone, wheel bearing and a reburb wheel!

They are good on fresh snow, my neighbour has similar on his FWD audi and had no issues getting up hills etc with them on.

how strong/durable are they if used on clear roads for short distances? Expect they wouldn't last too long?!

problem round here is always that the housing estate roads are covered in snow, but the main roads are clear.

Same round here not far from motorway either but can't get out of village other wise will have to take off as soon as roads are clear. But at least I can get to work

Good point about the use on dry roads. I expect they have quite a low speed rating.

Jep I think it's 50k (30mph). But you shouldn't be going that fast on snow and ice .

Alot of british gas vans have them round my way, our company was looking into getting them too, as said before there good on snow but once it comes to ice its a different story
