help fuel leak fuel filler pipe help

As above I have a gc8 and just discovered I have a fuel leak from the fuel filler pipe is this an easy fix if I can find a replacment part never done one before so if anyone can give advice thanks

I know it's a common problem but not sure what's involved in changing it, is there nothing on Scabbynet?

It hides under the plastic cover in the rear wheel arch.

That's the kiddy but defo. Sounds a nightmare to fit

Ok just a quickly before I go looking ....can I get a motor sport one in rubber and fit that it must be easier job to fit it's just a suggestion as I Hurd someone mention you can fit rubber ones . Can anyone advise me

Not something I've heard of but I guess you can get universal filler hose in different diameters, you'd be relying on having some good metal to clamp onto and you'd need to fit all the vent pipes as well. There's a write up on how to change one on www.RS25.com, I just did a Google search on impreza filler replacement and it came up.

Thanks Red Baron I'm not sure rubber replacement is the way for me to go I think after all it's fuel and I will use the proper part even if it is harder to fit don't think I should go for a part other than genuine thanks for your help much appreciated
