Default Boost cut after getting wet

After the car has sat for a few days in the heavy rain and letting the car warm up for a good 15 mins if I go to put my foot down hard it seems to hit boost cut (even at low boost, say 0.7 bar)

I've got the rain covers under the bonnet so I don't think the air filter / maf is getting wet.

Would the leads be a symptom of this if they were slightly cracked and letting in moisture?

Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Boost cut is very violent and different to a standard misfire.
It could be in limp mode as this can limit boost and revs to around 4500rpm if I remember correct.
So it would be worth checking for error codes.

Thanks, will give it a go later.

Not sure it's boost cut now, as it gave a misfire yesterday.

Alyn @ As performance didn't think it was the leads or coil.

Strange how it only happens in the wet.

Sticky boost control solenoid ? Give it a clean through with some carb cleaner.
