Whiteline parts...
Hope everyone had a good Xmas??
Advice really - gonna give alyn a call when he's open again for whiteline parts, but wondered if anyone could advise whether I'm looking at unnecessary bits... Car will be fast road, and hopefully occasional track day (sad won't be ready for ring this year ). Thinking of: Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar - BSR33z Whiteline front sway bar adjustable link set - KLC139 Whiteline rear sway bar links kit - KLC261 Whiteline front and rear control arm kit - KTA109 Whiteline anti lift kit - KCA359 Whiteline steering rack mounts (bushes) - KSR202 Whiteline positive shift kit bush - W0584 Whiteline front adjustable sway bar - BSF33z Whiteline roll centre kit - KCA313 Love people's advise as always...car is 12yrs old so imagine most bushes are nearly had it... Thanks Ryan

You might like to consider adding the subframe locking bolts to the list.
They're a useful and inexpensive modification in my opinion. |

Appreciate that - although read somewhere they can damage the subframe?
Thanks for any and all advice Ryan

They come with a disclaimer about early chassis wear, but I believe that's simply to cover the manufacturer rather than due to it being a genuine problem.
I would be interested to know what you read. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will chip in. Alyn will probably have a view too. |

personally wouldn't go for whiteline arb as they rust like a bastard. I have eibach on the p1 and so much better made.
Roll centre kit is a worthwhile upgrade. As you say the change in bushes will show a big difference. Doing all those mentioned will make the car feel new. I did go for the diff bushes but removed them due to the whine noise. |

Thanks hong kong...will look into eibach arbs instead whiteline when speak to alyn...
Yeah hoping new bushes should tighten everything back up...bate ring feels very loose and car generally needs tightening... Ryan

I'd buy the whiteline arbs over Perrin , made of far better materials. Ayln will tell you the pitfalls of both

I got whiteline stuff and they do rust, but just get them painted when they start to go. Use subframe lock boots with no problems.
I used super pro roll centre kit as looked better than whiteline. Bushes I used a mixture of whiteline and power fled I think. |

Also look at beefing up rear arb mounts.

Thanks c.j and si...
So when u say about beefing up rear are mounts, is this with another whiteline kit/part ?? Also was thinking 22mm arbs front and back - or would 24mm on rear be better? I've looked for adjustable arbs over the fixed - assuming this is a better option? Ryan

24mm front and back
Rear arm mounts tend to bend when you update arbs so they do a updated mount. I'd personally ring Ayln and go through your list his a onist chap and only sell you what you need

Thanks Scotty...
And cheers si.. So is adjustable on front pointless? Really appreciate everyone's feedback... And surfer - I looked at the CDF parts as they are only 20min drive from me in Rochester, but there bits seemed a little more expensive than whiteline. Maybe as they are better? Don't know... Ryan

Ive got cdf bars for my project and there great. I was once told they are whiteline bars just powdercoated orange to last longer.

can go through things in far more detail when back in the office but the SuperPro and Whiteline droplinks are about the only ones i would change to - the solid style ones are WRONG for most cars and simply induce binding IMO
Eibach bars are very good quality with the only downside being they are of the fixed variety Eibach coating is superior to Whiteline but as above you could simply get the W/line powdered before installation as the material is correct
