Default July 2011 - SES Meet, Saturday 30th July - Kent

This July we will be visiting/meeting in the Kent Region.

The pub of choice being 'The Robin Hood', Blue Bell Hill, Chatham, near to Buckmore Park Kart Track.

Good Food
Nice Beer Garden, Alfresco eating (hopefully)

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...,0.076818&z=14

Easy Access from the M2/M20 follow signs off motorway to Crematorium/Blue Bell Hill

Southern Approach :
If approaching from the south/Maidstone take the Crematorium exit off Blue Bell Hill A229 then turn left, follow lane for approx 1-2 miles, Robin Hood Pub sign will appear on the right.

Northern Approach :
If approaching from North, turn off Motorway and follow signs for Crematorium. Do not take the final turning to the Crematorium but continue straight on main road, ignoring the signs that state 'A229 Slip road Closed,No Acces'.
When you get to the barrier of the closed slip-road turn right and follow lane for 1-2 miles, Robin Hood Pub sign will appear on the right.

Both Approaches ;
The Lane is quite narrow and you may think you are going the wrong way, but the pub sign will appear.

There is also a Car Park at the top of Bluebell Hill, at the crematorium end of the lane. This would be a good photo spot if the weather is fine. Cracking views.

12:30 rendevouse in the Pub Car Park

I posted the last meet at this pub up on Kent and we had a few members come along - they all seemed to enjoy the meet

Hopefully we'll have a few more this time

I'm going to Whitstable for the day

Depending what time we leave to get down there, I might pop in on the way

I won't be in the Scooby though, that's in having some more "bits" done.

Booked for 15, Alfresco style.....let's hope we're lucky with the Weather......
There is also covered outside seating so shouldn't be a problem.

The resturant is avaialable but reluctant to book that out, only to then sit outside and deny them 'real' resturant bookings.

Was a great meet with some fantastic cars there. Really good to catch up with everyone. I have put a few pics in the pics/meets section.
