Default New Member Alert

Morning all,

Thought i'd pop up a quick post this morning introducing myself, i'm GSUS aka Glen and have recently moved to the East Grinstead / Crawley area this year.

I previously lived over near Epsom and I've been a member over on Surrey Scoobies for a few years and met some fantastic people, i've noticed a few names here on SES (morning Anger and Moley).

A little history on my car :-

Purchased around 8 years ago now, it was the first real performance car i'd owned so it stayed standard for a few years. It is a 2000 Classic UK in Mica Red, i'm the second owner and the guy before me had some Prodrive goodies put on. Not the performance parts, just the cosmetic stuff which meant a Prodrive rear wing and Prodrive Recaro seats which i still love

After meeting the Surrey guys, things didn't stay standard for too long. I basically went through a phase of bolt on power mods with the intention to see how far things could go..........until one day the car developed a high pitch squeal when coming on boost, so the car got put in the garden at my mums and left there for 2 years as i was working away from home a lot and never got time to do anything with it.

Yes i'm a bad person, i know!

But the good news, i've got a new house with a nice drive and garage space of my own. So i've had the car transported over to mine and i'm getting ready to get her back on the road with some new goodies and mods.

Here being dragged out of the garden.

And on the way to a new home.

So a list of the mods bought so far and waiting installation :-

HKS SSQV III Dump Value
GAZ Coilerovers
Simtec ECU with Antilag
K&N Induction

Looking for new wheels but can't decide on style, 17's or 18's (might need to see how the GAZ sit first)

Planned :-

Some whiteline goodies
STI Alloy Front Arms (if they fit as the current standard UK ones look in very bad shape, probably all the grass growing around them for 2 years!)
Maybe a new exhaust system (funds permitting, home owning isn't easy)

For those interested, i had a project post over on Surrey which you may want to read http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=17188

Cheers guys

GSUS
