Default LED Headlight Bulbs

I have seen some LED Headlight bulbs on Ebay.
Just wondering, does anyone know if they are legal in the UK?

Ive had LED side lights for ages now, much better for daylight running, without having to resort to chav style. Pass MOT each year too.

Not sure about actual headlights, but as long as the pattern doesn't change, wouldn't they be fine?

well, not sure TBH. with a bulb, the light source is from 1 point within the bulb, so the headlight reflector is focused on the element. The LED ones are banks of those small LED's (SMD's I think they are called) so i think the focus will be different from a normal bulb, hence why I was asking.

I have also been using the LED sidelights for a while. I like them, but they ar white and make the normal headlight bulbs look yellowish, which is why I was curious about teh LED headlight bulbs. I would prefer they were the same colour as the LED sidelights
