Default Euro spec 2000 mapping session on DC2 Turbo

Went with my mate to get his Honda DC2 Turbo mapped.
Spec as i know of Darton sleeved engine, Bc cams, skunk 2 oversized throttle body, forged pistons and conrods, 800cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, uprated distributer, think the turbo was a turbonetics or precision turbo.
Day was an absolute nightmare, we got there late as there was a acident on the A3, then when we got there the mapper/tuner went over the car, found that the timing was out by 2 teeth, luckly this is one of those engines that will not bend a valve even if timing was out, forgotten what type it is called, so once that was done the mapper was not happy with the manual boost controller, so he replaced that as well.
Car went on the dyno and then after the 3rd run we noticed that one of the cam pulley nuts had fallen off, then after that the car was spluttering under load, so we re gapped the plugs and tried again, still an issue, then noticed that one of the bolts had snapped on the distributer cap, so luckly we had a standard one in the boot. Put that on and he only could take the car upto 1.2 bar and this was the result.

With new Distributer will be able to take it to 1.8bar so over 500bhp to be expected..
My mates engine bay..

Well on the way home to top the day off lets just say bye bye turbo, on the way home it blew up, so it has been sent off for a rebuild. Its really strange as cold side is roller bearing and hot side is journel.
Any way her is a few pictures of some of the cars there... There was a few Time attack cars too.

The UK's fastest GTO, over 1000bhp+

He has a custom made screamer pipe. For the external waste gate. This car is amazingly quick.. And it will be on around 1.8bar in a few weeks and he will have boost by gear setup too.
