well guys i picked up my lancer ralliart from main dealer in reading on thursday.so done the deal and drove 98 miles to hastings (smiling like cheshire cat) to see my brother 4 a few days.2 miles from brothers house warning lights came on and tc-sst gearbox was acting up.so got to brothers had a cup of tea.then phones mitsubishi aa up to have a look,he turned up,car wouldnt go in gear and two fault codes showed up.i think gearbox is fooked so had to be put on a lorry to main dealers. so just got home a hour ago and will have to wait till wednesday to see wot happens.

Didz, when I brought my E46 M3 I got 17 miles and at a t junction had nothing but neutral .
As I brought from BMW main dealer they recovered car and £1,400 later all was sorted .
Replaced slave cylinder and a load of sensors .

Sorry that you got problems mate, but at least it will all be sorted without any cost to you .

Mmmm shall I change user name

It's not an Evo. Like the BMW it has a very complicated gearbox. Unfortunate for Didz the bloody things have many probs. It was good to see you mate & glad you got back ok. let's hope it gets sorted quickly. Your name could be didzhadturbo.98
