Default Insurance :-o

Since my scoob is my only car, and I have recently been doing a lot of town driving lately (OMFG petrol consumption goes throught the floor when you're driving round the centre of London all day long!!!) I have been looking at getting a little runaround. Been looking at 1995 Golf TDi for about £500. I thought insurance for it would be about £200 or so - 32 years old, a fews years NCB, only 3 points from about 4 years ago.

Starting messing about on GoCompare and Meerkat which produced figures of about £750! What the hell is going on with insurance these days??? I only pay slightly more than that for my STi.....

At those rates, I may as well keep spending the money on V-Power and filling up every 5 fricking mins....
