Default track day info

Hi guys im at the point now where i really want to get the car on the track. Ive done a number of track days on my motorbike and its clearly the place to have fun on that so i figured its where the scooby belongs too.

The one thing that worries me tho is that i have been told to make a list of everything i should expect to need replacing afterwards. On the bike its the same riding it off the track at the end of the day as it is riding it on in the morning, minus a set of tyres lol. But my dad did brands in his lotus elise and it bolloxed all his wheel bearings up, is this common?

Its a 93 turbo2000, probably seen better days, so is a track day likely to kill it? What do you guys seem to need to replace after?

I think the key word was Lotus.

All depends on your right foot.

Not keen on doing the track day, but I am keen on photographing the track day.

I have been pretty lucky on my last 2 track days, ahven't had to replace anything. (we just don't mention the engine i popped on the previous one)

A proper track isn't as hard on your tyres as you may think, it is the airfield tracks which kill them.

There is a track day coming up on 22nd Feb @ Brands Hatch being organised by SIDC, i am booked and paid for that one.
