about 20 k to much ,if it had history still too much, get me a shell and ill build you a killer escort for 20 k. ps sod the twink and the bda engines cost to mich to get the power and cost to much when thay go bang which is sooner than later . go jap mk 1 or mk 2 with honda 2000 eng 240bhp out of the packet. or old school 2.1 pinto group 2 .190bhp all day long and unbusterball,or how about a XR4I and drop a mustang 5ltr and mt75 gear box in with a 1oobhp shot of nos,

seen a few Mk1 & Mk2's running Vauxhall twin-cam units. Supposed to be nice, but I could never put a vauxhall unit in a Ford. There must be some good twin-cam options for the pinto block these days, that can run some sort of engine management. Always fancied a cossie powered Mk1. But like the Twink/BDA cost too much when they fail...well they used to when mine failed. |
