Default What to put under new wing

Evening, I have a new larger wing coming out of paint next week and wondered what's best to go under it to protect the body and stop vibration. It also bolts on so I do have to drill into by bootlid. . .....

Check Rob's (NL03Scooby) project thread - I did the same as him with rubber washers against the paint, then on underside of boot lid I used rubber washer again (to stop vibration) and then a metal washer to clamp all together with a nut for securing.

I haven't had any leaks or vibration from my STi spoiler once it was refitted after spraying.

Rubber washers around the bolts. Mine had sticky-back foam tape around the edges as well to help prevent water ingress/vibration. When I refitted it, it needing replacing as was old and useless.

Must be quite thin washers - I still have to put mine back on. Where did you get them from, Halfords ?

Can't remember for sure, but the father-in-law is a plumber so I probably pinched them off his van
