Default coil packs

think mine are starting to die...car is fine intill I work it for a longer period then I get a slight hesitation in midrange and high rpms...

im thinking they get hot and break down...??

anyhow want to change them.. are they alot of money??

I know theres a newage mod that can be done but im not very good with wires lol id be happy with new like for like...

your symptoms sound like it might be coil packs. had mine go a few years back. if I was gentle with the throttle in midrange, I didn't get the hesitation. if I was aggressive with the throttle, I got the hesitation. Swapped my packs for new and that cured it.

They are about £70-£80 each new. I think there are 2 types for classics. V1/2 are the rounded type. I think after that they went square'ish, but not sure at which version they changed.
