Default Goodwood Track Day - Sat 13th April

THIS IS PROVISIONAL AT THE MOMENT AS CURRENTLY FINALISING DETAILS

Charity Event in aid of RNRM Children's fund, as per the previous SES Track Event @ Goodwood

£150 Full-Day pass for 6 sessions (time / weather permitting) of approx 15 minutes
Payment via paypal to : payments@southeastscoobies.co.uk please.

The SES plan would be to split this up for SES members, as before i.e £25.00 gets you 1 session, £50 2 sessions etc.....
They need to sell 35 sessions just to break even, any additional monies made go to the RNRM children's Fund.

There's no limit on places at the moment, as capacity is yet to be confirmed.
Once I know I will let people know numbers.

SES may bump the price up to £40 per for 2 sessions in order to get some funds in the kitty.

Yes, £40 is a cracking price for track time at Goodwood so perfectly fair.

The SES donations fund always takes a bit of a hit when we organise costed events due to paypal fees etc, so it would be good to get a few quid back (its only £2.50 from each person...)

Any more for this as ideally we would like 8 to split amongst 2 full day passes.

For those who haven't driven Goodwood, its a fantastic experience. I think its a better drivers circuit than Brands personally.

SES has been very lucky to have had two opportunities like this in as many years, Goodwood trackdays are normally very expensive (several hundred quid!) or reserved for members of the GRRC.

Guy's,

Update from the organisers is that they hope to allow at lest 6 sessions of 15 minutes for £150 during the day, rather then the original 8 sessions.
This was reduced to 4 or 5 sessions, but I expressed my concerns with this reduction and they have managed to agree with the clerk of the course they can run 6 sessions containing 6 cars each.

This does bump the price up slightly, but it's still a bargain price for Goodwood.
The OP has been updated with the costs which now work out at £25 per session.

Please let me know ASAP if you are still interested as I need to confirm to the organisers our total session requirements.

Thanks........

Thanks for organising Scot. I will get the payment over later. I am slightly worried that my session will be delayed as it will take them a while to clear up the debris after Big E has been on track

I can do one or two seesions whichever fits in best with you. If you cannot fill the 4th Pass I can bow out as I have Marham booked the following weekend and I was using Goodwood as a shakedown day.

Just let you me know what you end up doing.

SES has now made payment for this event at a cost of £450.
Could I therefore ask that all attendee's make payments to payments@southeastscoobies.co.uk to replenish the pot.

Thanks

Run by the same people yes.
They wanted to do a static event and trackday but initially Goodwood had no dates.
Therefore they setup the SuperCar Siege at Leeds Castle, but then this date for a Trackday also became available. So we now have 2 events.

Hmm, that means less cars on track due to their sound limits - which is good thing!

Hi Charlie, if we can get another 2 attendee's wanting 2x15 mins, then I can hopefully set up another place.
We need 3 persons per full day pass, currently the 3 we have are full. But a 4th is possible if the above requirement is satisfied......

I know Anger pulled out, so he may jump back in if there's space.

Problem is the Evo will never pass 105dbs with the screamer pipe and the wagon needs new brakes... The Evo is the priority at the mo with what's on in May

You'll probably pass the static but probably be pulled on the drive bys unless you lift off at them but that defets the point really!

Work friends R33 Skyline passed the static for the 102db on Saturday but got into trouble for going over on the drive by, his friends 800bhp GTR had the same problem. Apparently the noisiest car there was a Chevette but that was due to it breaking it's exhaust.

We need 3 persons per full day pass, currently the 3 we have are full. But a 4th is possible if the above requirement is satisfied......

I know Anger pulled out, so he may jump back in if there's space.
If no one else joins I could I do a full day for £150?
What's the latest you willing to keep this open for ?
Cheers
