As the evenings are now getting lighter I have decided to try something a little different so hopefully more people can attend!

The meeting time is going to be from 4.00pm onwards. In the lower car park.if we can get in.

For those that wish to eat , the menu is comprehensive and they also have a childrens menu.

This venue has proved to be popular in the past and is in a very nice location with stunning views of the sea and the South Downs.

For those that have not been before the road the pub is situated on is interesting.

Dave has had to order some adjustuable arms for the coilovers as they were dialing in 4 degrees of negative camber

They should arrive tomorrow and the car should be back tomorrow night. Fingers crossed and all that.

On the positive side, the ride height has dropped by 2 inches. The quick blast Dave had in, he said is was spot on.

With regards to the Sussex Meet. There is a group of us meeting up at the Lay By just next to the East Sussex National Golf Club, just outside Uckfield @ 12.15.

Then it's in convoy down to the Treacle Mines and then over to the head.

going to try and meet up with the convoy coming from PP and then onto the layby near Uckfield

will convoy down with everyone to Beachy Head too but have to leave there about 4:45pm cos need to be back in Brighton at half 5.....

Have put up a few pics in the meet section. A lot of the SS peeps came up to Beachy head so we must have had 30 plus cars there. (Got photos of at least 29 different cars at the Head). Very good day.

fantastic turnout at both pubs, hope nobody got caught by the police holding their hairdryers on the way out of Beachy Head - hopefully Baz put the word out

Polegate pub was very excellent, plenty of room for us with very good service, the food looked good but we opted (very big mistake) to eat at beachy head, who cannot make a toad in the hole, I was very tempted to get a hacksaw out of the car to try and cut through the batter rejected the first meal and then the second was just as bad, we wont be eating there again, very poor service as Shaz had to wait at least 15 minutes to be served

Well done Cath and Buzz for choosing such an excellent venue, Thanks to Buzz for bringing the ss stickers, spot on the pair of you.

Great job Big E for pulling together another great meet, Shame i couldnt make it.

Shame about the poor food and service, SS have had meets there for many years and its always been very good.

I have to agree totally, we have had some great meets at Beachy Head over the years, but it was really shown up by the Treacle Mines.

By far a much better venue, great service and food

I thought Beachy Head looked tired and to be honest it was dirty inside, windows and window sills were rot

All in all 2 great meets, well done all who organised it.

Well done to the organisers, we didnt go to the treacle mines, but we thought beachy head was a nice venue but didnt try out there food so cant comment, the best bit was seeing all you guys again

I never made it to the Mines as Lee had to work,and arrived Late at the Beachy head But Decieded to try one of there puddings along with Jo "Mrs Herbert" i had profitarols That looked like 2 Doughnuts with cream on, wernt that nice but Jo had a fudge brownie with icecream,the Brownie was hard on the egdes and tasted very bland so all Jo ate was the icecream..

I dont think i would eat there again

I didnt eat any of the food at the pub, but I have made a note of all the comments,
especially after having seen the meel Baz was presented with.

Looks to me as if The Treacle Mine is a venue to be remembered.
