I normally turn the key, have a fag
then jump in when finished (fag) and pop off but dont blow her out until engine is mid warm on the dash. Then when I stop, I leave it running for a little bit and turn her off.
Problem is if I pop in and out I go though 40 fags per day

On a fuel note, I must use 1/4 of a tank a day just sitting about hahahahhhahhahah
