Without an undertray and the prob in the sump or filter sandwich plate you can knock 10 DegC off the temp reading as the sump and/or probe gets cooled in the airflow.
i dont know what the "undertray" is, i basicly bought the full kit from scoobyworld then had the kist fitted by my mechanic.

seems to be pretty stable now and iv got used to it, gets to 100 degrees when im pushing her a bit , but not much more than that.
