Well.... what an evening that was.
Some lovely cars out there, some of them seriously quick! Much preferred the open pit lane format to the 20 minute sessions we did last year - more freedom to go out when i wanted and for however long i wanted.
The scoob did a great job, brakes were always going to struggle but they actually seemed to get better and better (i assume as the pads put more deposits on the discs?) until they started to fade about 20 minutes into a run.
Managed to get smoke pouring off the rears when coming back to the pits so at least they were getting a good workout
Would definatey recommend the £25 instruction, lasted about 20 minutes (then a 15 minute chat about lines/techniques) and definately helps.
Cheers to Nick for the few laps in your car, although i feel i need to apologise too. My heavy arse must have contributed to your problem - it seemed fine with Sian in the car!!
Glad you got home ok and hope its quickly sorted.
Don't think anyone was taking pics so i'll have to have a look at the Brand's photography guys and see what they got.
