I had the same kind of scenario when I bought my STi8 back in 2004. I test drove the car I have now and an Evo8. I have always said this, that I admit that the Evo was the better car, quicker just, sharper just, cheaper just! But it lacked something.
I have always said that the Evo is a great car, but it has no soul. Wher the scooby is flawed, but easily "de-flawed" but it has a soul. Something almost etherial!
