Forgot about the TT, Apart from the girls image - Great car, mine was remapped to 270bhp and liked it allot. Instant spool, build quality and interior and exterior ahead of its time. Bullet proof but not a car I would want to push to the limits and feel comfortable with.
Loved My Cosworth Saphs as well, and will always have a place in my heart, and still have utmost respect for the Ford boys that have stuck with it. But I think in reality they were just great cars at the time - I think If I had another one now I would think its horrid, unreliable,expensive, handled like poo, rattly and rusty bag of nails...
Another car I loved was the Mk1 MR2 - the Wedge shape rust bucket one
It was an Elise of its day. Handling was sublime, and ubber cheap to insure on classic insurance.
And of course SCOOBS of any era, shape!
