This is the final batch of pictures from the recent trip to France and Belgium.

Starting with 2 graves of soldiers killed in action on 11th November 1918.
































This next shot is taken from the trenches where the Australians launched an assault on the German lines, and were massacred by the German machine gun nests. These are one of the few trenches that have not been preserved and fenced off. The memorial in the background is in remeberance of this massacre.










The next picture shows the site of the Red Barons Crash Site. This is just a crop of the picture above!





















Finally, this is the 150 year old farmhose we stayed in and our group. The last pic was the view from my bedroom window.
