Only ever bought one and unlikely to do so again.
For technical information, model-specific info, tuning advice, unbiased pros and cons of different mods and which supplier/garage to use then I have found the forums the best place to get this information rather than any paper publication. The downside is having to make the time separating the bullsh*t from the useful information on some of the national forums (no names

).
This is why well run regional forums such as this have flourished because as well as getting information from the forum, you can also meet up with members to see their cars, often get a passenger ride to get first hand experience of whether you like an exhaust or suspension option for example and get other ideas for what to spend your hard earned on. You can also usually find answers to specific issues/problems as someone is likely to have experienced a similar problem with their car – and if not then someone can usually can give you pointers as to where to look or who to ask.
To provide a balanced view, as the above sounds way too complementary to the SES team
, there are plenty of nutters on here (and that’s just the Admin team
)…..
