LOL a lap is still a lap! i'm sure its an expeirence at any speed.
My mate says he can get a van and car trailer rented for cheap. If thats the case i might trailer mr car if the rental works out less than the petrol and have a set of wheels in the van for weather conditions etc. Also no need to worry about vehicle revovery either should the worst happen. And lots of space for food and tools too lol
