VXR8 has to be a good choice steve. There is a black one around our way that I guess has been tweaked as it almost breaks any nearby glass with the noise it makes. I know what you mean with the M3/Scoob. The M3 is by far the 'better' car, but as we said before, there are very few cars that make you smile like a scoob/evo, especially for the money. I thinks its alot to do with the harsh ride, rattles and stupid amounts of punch in the back syndrome
. I drove a new R32 golf for a while and got bored with that for the same reason. At the end of the year I will be in the market for something to use for 'work'. Budget aint what it was - lol, so M3's etc are out as it will be a leased new car. I am still very tempted with an RS focus, especially after seeing a couple at the weekend at dunsfold. They are so well turned out and meran looking. Luckly tho, I will still have the scoob for frightening myself every now and again
