Sold the scoob, and was going to get a convertible. But I am enjoying what I term as bangor/value for money motoring at the moment so picked up this yesterday. Its covered 133K miles and strong and as solid as the day is left the showroom. Build quality to rival audi and BMW and one of my favourite shapes and seems to be the one to have in the Saab world of fanatics.
Its been breathed on by Abbot motorsport, with Koni top mount adjustables, sports cat, ECU, and lots of braces to keep the thing in check, and help with the torque steer. Its running approx 250bhp and a shed load of torque through the front wheels. With boost coming in really early at 2K or possibly less. Taking into consideration 2wd losses, its makes for a really rapid road car and suprised the hell out of me, and this is my 3rd Saab now. But by far the best in every regard. Fully leather, all the toys including ice cold aircon, cruise, multi changer, climate, so not to shabby in the creature comforts department. Only thing its misses is the 4wd, but lots of power through the front wheels adds to the fun.
