Guys regarding oil coolers and mounting etc

The oil filter take off for the oil cooler is pretty much last in line before it returns to sump, so even if it does drain upon switch off there won't be any air 'pumped' round the engine becaus it is all post the high pressure side. (a bit like the oil return pipe from turbo, never sees the pressure you read on your gauge).

Also the stat takeoff for the cooler is never fully closed when cold, it is partailly open always to allow some circulation.


Another note CJ, I've just read whole thread, you have a 333 pump in tank already and it can be used as an external, so if you're happy with that then stick the 255 back in and use the 333 from swirlpot, no need to buy another pump
