The stretchy boots are really good Rob, use them all the time. Have you got the cone for stretching them over?

Just a thought, if you are using the stretchy boot, do you need to pop the shaft out of the diff or can you not put it on from the hub end. Don't know if you've got room to get the clip round the CV joint with it in place. Would also save having to drain the oil from the diff.
