Hello Keith

Agree with Ron on the re-install of IE, but also the others saying 'use a different browser'. (I like Mozilla FireFox)

If when running IE the add-ons are showing as 'enabled', but the browser content is not being displayed... then IE is screwed or more probably a DLL or a registry entry IE uses to access the add-ons database is screwed.

Have you tried the MS re-install KB article?

To give you an example of a similar issue…

I run an old Windows 2000 Server at home that acts as a server and workstation. It was working like a treat, but sometime during May a Windows update was downloaded/installed that screwed my IE, Active Directory and local DNS. I tried for weeks to fix it, but in the end gave up and de-installed all the AD and DNS stuff. This fixed 99% of the issues, but even now when starting IE for the 1st time after system boot up I have to wait just over 3 minutes before a page is displayed. Do you think I can fix this? … nope.
