Yes I agree with all your comments - as I mentioned, it was a suggestion of Rich that I wait encase I wanted to refresh the engine. This was mainly because I had thoughts to do the head gaskets towards the end of the year, again not because they are failing, but just for peace of mind. Although rich said if not failing then leave as are which again is sensible so again I'll prob just get the sump and pump fitted anyway 
Timing belt will be end next year as was only done 2yrs / 4500 miles ago....my aim is to do its every 3-4yrs for peace of mind... (yes overkill I appreciate) |
The head gaskets are good On these so no need to safe guard ,
The pump and baffle is spot on. Concentrate on good breathing mods along with a good map and suspension and save some penny's.
