TBH unless you have (access to) an eligible vintage car, I wouldn't bother joining the club just to enter the Pom. Entries close on 6 Feb and I doubt if a new membership would be possible by then, they've only just moved from needing to be nominated by a current member to be allowed in at all, and everything moves very slowly. Plus it's £90 or so for a new membership!
I joined last year as my Dad has a MG J2 and does some hillclimbs and sprints, and we have done a few things as double-drives (I beat him by 10 seconds in the Pembrey sprint last summer
). The Pom is the only VSCC event that can be entered in a post-war car.
