The newage wrx gearbox will be fine at VF35 power levels assuming its in good health now.
If you're fitting rear brembos I assume you're aware of the handbrake issues you'll have to resolve? I went with the larger shoes as its the easiest fix and its alright on the road, but when they're hot (coming off track) i have no handbrake at all.
