[Scruff]

I'd like to set about putting my new hoses on today but am a bit worried about the coolant change side of things. I have no idea what coolant is in it but it looks reddish. Obviously the best thing is just to do get rid of it all and start again but will I end up with little deposits of the old stuff even with all the hoses off? I don't really want a grungy cooling system. I've got a couple of bottles of the halfords red coolant. Is this good enough or do I need to use a particular brand?
