I would say yes if the first, and you really do push hard, *(some track use) and no if you have standard or even uprated struts and springs. For purely road use it is very doubtful you would notice a difference.

They are not too bad to fit, can be a bit tight depending on fit and quality. (nice and easy on a wagon!)
