the engine might get a bit warmer possibly but the idea of letting it tickover for a minute is to ensure your turbo has a fresh supply of oil being circulated - turbo wont get hotter if not being used on idle and if by chance your turbo is really hot from the drive letting it tickover for a minute or two will stop oil overheating within and drying out etc and maybe even glazing the oilways on the turbo - always worthwhile to do as well as driving off boost for last few minutes of a journey where possible
