Yea It would be better to ceramic coat first then wrap but it is additional cost that puts me off doing that. I will probably have to replace it as I have read that they go brittle.
Standard headers are very thick and have heat shields. where as stainless are really thin with no heat shield. I am hoping that the wrap will help the heat to walm the pipe evenly. even when it's damp I need to keep the heat in.
