For that extreme price difference I'd go with the cheapest quote, but i'm surprised KM is that far off the mark. Have you told him the other quotes to see what he can do?
Gary's a top chap to deal with and I'm happy insuring our cars through him, but if you have a bump it'll probably be outsourced through a claims company anyway (this happened when someone drove into Claire's car in the snow last year). And then it's pot luck i guess....
Personally i think claims companies are the scum of the earth, up there with No Win No Fee solicitors
