Default Resealing spoiler

Hi all,

I think I've narrowed down my leaking boot to two areas.

First is when jet washing car or raining heavy, the rubber seal at the top corner (nearest rear window) seems to gather water. So much so that it puddles up and then the water goes over the top of the rubber and into boot - admittedly mainly when car is parked down hill.

I have removed the rubber and checked for cracks but all seems well..
First question, what sealant would be best for putting the rubber back on with?

Secondly when boot is shut (looking through back arm rest into boot) I can see a few drops coming from a couple of the holes in the boot lid - not the bolt holes for the spoiler but other ones. So it must be that water is coming under the spoiler and in thru the hole.
Second question - is it better to just thinly seal around the spoiler in situ with a clear sealant, and if so what sealant??
Or am I better removing the spoiler and trying to reseal it underneath? If so- how and what sealant?

Cheers for any help -

Ryan
