It doesn't concern me too much as:

1. I never had any issues with the hawk.

2. The new one will be either a 3 year lease or a PCP so will be warrantied so by the end of the 3 year period we will know whether the same issues affect it.

I really wish subaru had put an all new engine in it but they haven't. So the choice I am left with is to run with it or abandon the make altogether and go German..

For me, if it drives as I hope it does then I am happy to stick with it.
