Found out my cat was broken where it joins center pipe so ordered one off ebay,1st one that arrives has peices of the cat falling out.!!! 2 weeks later im refunded and its collected.
Order a second cat from a 1998 sti and seller assures me it will fit a v2 1995 sti. Well today take off my intercooler,removed heat shield from turbo and lo and behold my downpipe is different. Size and shape all match up but my cat is fitted with only one sensor which is after the converter,the cat supplied from a 1998 sti is fitted with two. One before the cat and one after. Mine only has the sensor after the cat. Now can i just get a plug and blank off the top hole or is it going to cause me no end of problems ?? If its ok to blank it off does anyone know where i can get said plug or do any of you guys have one knocking about ?
Getting so f***ed off with dishonest sellers now and losing heart with the car. Love driving ,hate working on it when problems arise and are aggravated by others selling incorrect parts.
